University of Oxford is a research based university located in Oxford, Britain. There is no any fixed date of its foundation as there is an evidence of teaching that has been started as back as 1096 and thus University of Oxford is one of the oldest universities in the world and the second oldest surviving college.

More than 17,000 applied for undergraduate study while more than 20,000 applied for graduate study in the place for 3200 undergraduate and 4500 graduate places per year.
